BENEFITS OF SOY:
Soy is a renewable resource and is grown on American soil, which supports our economy and farmers. It is a 100% vegetable by-product, not a petroleum oil by-product. Soy is non-toxic and non-carcinogenic. Soy candles produce 95% less smoke and soot than paraffin candles. Soy candles burn 50% longer than paraffin because soy burns at cooler temperatures. Soy is the ideal choice for those who suffer from allergies and asthma. Soy wax spills can easily be cleaned up with hot soapy water.

SOY AS A SKIN MOISTURIZER:

100% COTTON BRAIDED WICKS:
We never use led, zinc, or metal wicks of any kind. Only 100% cotton braided. The tight braid in the wick ensures the wick does NOT fall back into the candle. They stand sturdy and straight for the life of the candle.

A SMOKING SOY CANDLE:
This should never happen. If your candle is smoking than the wick is too long, it needs to be trimmed. To much flame, not enough fuel. Extinguish flame and trim. Repeat if necessary. Remember to always clip your wicks before lighting. Take pride in your candle burning. Practicing proper candle maintenance will extend the life of your candle. Please follow all burning instructions.

SCENT THROW:
Our candles are made with 8% to 12% body safe fragrance oil. The industry term is SCENT THROW the scent is THROW from the wax pool the candle flame creates. Candle making is a science and each VixWix candle is planned, designed, and tested to ensure a good scent throw.

Keep in mind, more scent or fragrance oil does not mean better scent throw. A perfect example are the perfume scents. They are very robust and strong scents so 12% would be too much fragrance and eventually make you nauseous. Flower scents are much softer and milder. So more is not always better.

If you prefer a very stong scent throw. Just let us know. We will just add more of it.
